Depending on the sophistication of current operations, a company that has decided to investigate new possibilities for quality control and machine vision options may decide that purchasing an entirely new system with a full vision interface would best service the production line. On the other hand, a company with a smaller operation might be more inclined to use a smaller machine that could serve a purpose in different roles.
